Mann/van Steen (1936) Miss America is a beautiful peony with large, semi-double white flowers. As the plant gets older, it gets more filled flowers. It comes in bud with some pink and then slowly changes into a beautiful, white, fragrant and early flowering peony. The dark crop is sturdy and does not need support. Miss America is a workhorse that should not be missing from any cut flower grower. APS Gold Medal winner in 1956 & 1971.
